Long weekends

Last Thursday we packed up our most comfortable clothes and made our way to Cornwall for some family time and relaxation. I had never been to this beautiful part of England before and did my best to have as many pasties, ice cream cones and cream teas as possible, not to mention the fudge.

We took a nice and long walk to Padstow.

In town, we got steak and Stilton pasties from Chough Bakery famous for its prize winning pasties.

We then enjoyed double scoops of ice cream from Harbour Ice. White chocolate and English Toffee were my flavours of choice.

We spotted these dogs made entirely from Wellington boots in town. You've gotta love sustainable art! We also went and said hello to lobster mamas at the Lobster Hatchery.

The following day we rode bicycles to Camel Valley Vineyard. That was quite an achievement as we reckon it was a 20+ mile round trip journey. We only had some sparkling juice but eyed up some bubbly to come back for some other time.

Leisurely home time involved lovely fresh seafood, a 1000 piece puzzle and an indoor Easter egg hunt.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Happy Easter!
